Very convenient location. Good and clean bed. Positive: Great location. Clean and comfortable bed. Practical layout Negative: A few things need fixing. The kitchen sink tap came off. The shutters didn’t work. The dispensers for soap and shampoo did not work. No dinner plates, just a couple of small ones and a few bowls. The music from the restaurant below was very loud. And the couch was extremely uncomfortable.

Positive: Fantastic location. Easily accessible to all the main attractions. Great variety of restaurants close by.

Located in a terrific food and historical area, loads of venues to find a meal.

Deceptive description of the property. Reality is different. Positive: The room had all listed facilities and the location is convenient, close to restaurants and a grocery store. Negative: Incorrect Information in the Description of the property listed on booking.com. We stayed at NORD – North Hobart Apartments from 7–12 Oct 2025. The listing states “one living room and one separate bedroom,” (image enclosed) which any layperson would read as two rooms. In reality, it was a compact studio, better suited to a solo traveller with light luggage. It was a Herculean task to carry two 20-kg suitcases up to the first level. The entrance area looked unattractive, and some listing photos appear to highlight nearby surroundings rather than the actual access and setting. I’m attaching photos of the entrance and surrounding area to show the reality. When I raised an issue of incorrect description with the host, he replied curtly and sent a dictionary definition of a studio apartment and showed no interest in addressing the issue and that was was disappointing.
